More about me
Obviously, my main area of interest is computing. I've been fascinated by these oversized calculators ever since I can remember, which is even before I ever got to use one. I especially like old computers and embedded systems. I am an open source supporter and I am most experienced with the Linux operating system. I'm mainly interested in operating systems and computer architecture, and am constantly looking for new alternatives to Linux.
I enjoy programming as a hobby and I've written many thousands of lines of code, however, I've never really released anything publicly. I hope to change that soon though. I'm fascinated by dynamic, flexible programming languages, such as Ruby and Python.
I'm also very interested in cross-platform development, and I absolutely don't care about platform specific stuff, even if it looks shiny and new. However, I feel strongly about platform integration as well: even though an application is cross-platform, that's no excuse to make it look out of place.
Whenever I'm not programming or studying, your best chance is to find me with Eva, my lovely girlfriend, or playing snooker with my friends ([1], [2], [3], [4]).
